Alex is an Investment Director of Movendo Capital, a family backed long-term investor headquartered in Amsterdam that provides minority growth equity capital to consumer and retail businesses that are headquartered in Western Europe and the US. Alex leads Movendo Capital’s Amsterdam team and recently led their Series B investment in Petfolk, a high-growth, next-generation veterinarian company.

Prior to joining Movendo Capital, Alex spent over six years at Virgin, Sir Richard Branson’s family office, where he managed a portfolio of Virgin branded consumer growth equity investments. Alex started his career at Citigroup in their London EMEA consumer and retail team and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Alex is the proud owner of Hapa, a miniature Goldendoodle.
